Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding Void Logger (the "Bot") to your Discord server, accessing our web dashboard, or otherwise using any part of the Void Logger service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") provided by Void Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age required by your local jurisdiction) and have a valid Discord account to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

2. Description of Service

Void Logger is an advanced logging solution designed for Discord communities. The Service records events such as message edits, message deletions, member activities, and structural changes to the server, and presents them to authorized administrators through a secure dashboard and/or log channels.

The Service is offered in multiple tiers:

  • Free Plan: Includes core logging features with message and media retention for up to 12 hours.
  • Pro Lite Plan: Includes all logging features, allows assignment to up to 10 servers, but maintains the standard 12-hour message and media retention.
  • Pro Plan: Includes everything in Pro Lite, allows assignment to up to 20 servers, and extends message and media retention up to 4 weeks.

3. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

By using the Service, you explicitly agree to the following:

  • You will fully comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
  • Privacy Law Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Void Logger complies with your local data protection laws. This may include informing your server members that their messages and activities are being logged.
  • Prohibited Use Cases: You will not use the Service to facilitate harassment, stalking, doxxing, distribution of illegal content, or any malicious activity.
  • Reverse Engineering: You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or bypass the Service's security controls, payment gateways (Polar), or encryption.
  • Resale: You will not resell, distribute, or sublicense the Service without our prior written consent.

4. Subscriptions & Payments via Polar.sh

Pro subscriptions are processed via our Merchant of Record, Polar (Polar.sh). By subscribing, you agree to Polar's terms of service regarding payment processing.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your server will revert to the Free plan.
  • When downgrading from the Pro Plan to Pro Lite or Free, any log data older than 12 hours will be permanently deleted.
  • Prices are subject to change. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increases.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all associated code, design, logos, and dashboard UI, is the intellectual property of Void Labs and is protected by copyright laws. You are granted a limited license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

We claim no ownership over the content generated by your Discord server.

6. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive for maximum uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or third-party outages (such as Discord API downtime).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or Discord's Terms of Service. Upon termination, all log data and configuration associated with your server will be permanently deleted.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT DATA LOGGED WILL BE PERFECTLY ACCURATE OR IMMUNE TO DATA LOSS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VOID LABS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR SERVER DISRUPTIONS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Void Labs from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of any third-party rights (including privacy rights of your server members).

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Material changes will be announced in our official Discord server. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance.
